Professor Graham Bullock

The resident director for the Fall 2018 program is Professor Graham Bullock, who has a joint appointment in Davidson’s Political Science and Environmental Studies Departments.  Dr. Bullock received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, Masters of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and his bachelors degree from Princeton University, where he received a five-year certificate in East Asian Studies.  He has lived in China for a total of four years, including three years in Yunnan Province where he worked for The Nature Conservancy’s Greater China Program.  He also spent a year in Beijing during college, where he studied Chinese at Beijing Normal University and interned with World Wildlife Fund’s China Programme.  Professor Bullock has traveled extensively in China, and has a deep interest in its history, culture, language, and natural heritage.  His research focuses on the intersection of business, government, and the environment, and he will be offering a course on Business and Politics in China as part of the 2018 Davidson in China Program.
